Tech question - computer monitor

I have a Dell E773C 17 inch CRT Monitor. Little over 3 years old. Never had any problems with it but the past few days, the "menu" screen keeps popping up. I hit the exit button but it continues to pop back up.

Its more a nuisance than anything and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. The monitor is only around $50 but I prefer to see if there's a quick fix before going down that path. Thanks.

Quick fix - buy a new one.

The repairs alone on it would run almost as much as a new one. Sounds like a failing circuit board.

Thanks for the reply lim.

Funny, every time the menu popped up, it was on the contrast function. So, I changed the contrast % slightly and now the menu screen no longer appears. Good. I need to buy a new vacuum and a monitor wasn't in the ol' budget this month. :)
