There are many programs but IMO - these are a must.

DVD Shrink - (Freeware) - excellent program- rips, shrinks etc...

CloneDVD - Excellent program, Very easy to use. It is capable of backing up either the complete DVD including all the chapters, extras, and menus, or just the selected titles. And can compress the video content to fit a single, 4.3 gigabyte DVD-R.

AnyDVD - removes automatically the CSS copy protection and RPC region codes from your DVDs in the moment you insert the disc in.

ImgBurn - Another excellent program - I use it for Booktype/Bitsetting & also to burn DL disc.

DVD Decrypter - if you can get it (been discontinued), its an excellent ripper & it also removes the Macrovision scrambling key, as well as the region code during the ripping process.

Mod - as stated by OP (& myself) - you can delete/lock if it is not appropriate or against the rules to post.
