totally agree.

Usually when a movie follows this formula (good action, bad everything else), I still end up liking it. But not with Bad Blood. It is a lifeless movie, and I couldn't wait for the credits to roll so that I could put it in my "to sell" pile.

For those that didn't know, BAD BLOOD has been released in the US as a region 1 DVD with the new title KING OF TRIADS. I'm not a fan of the title, but the release has very good picture quality, great English subs (and a English dub track as well).

I know this has divided fans, but I enjoyed the action and great cast. Yes, the story, script, and the directing are underwhelming, but I dig the action they created.

Okay I just watched BAD BLOOD (King of Triads) and I must say this had REAL cool fights in it. I mean the gym fight and the parking garage fight blew me away. Not as bad as I thought overall. I felt like I was watching a condensed epic in that I felt some key character development was missing, perhaps trimmed from the final cut...they should have spent more time showing Audrey's transition internally and externally. Still, I could see myself watching this one again, maybe even buying it if it's cheap.

Some of Nicky Li's best work as an action choreographer...at least recently.

Check Walmart. I scored my copy there pretty cheap if I remember correctly. Maybe $10?

Some folks hate this film but I liked it. Andy On was very impressive to me in this. It certainly made up for Black Mask 2.

Well I also was among those who enjoyed the movie and also very impressed by Andy On. Of course I'm sure Hong Kong producers would rather use some popstar or pretty boy. Someone really needs to win one of those ridiculously massive lottery wins in the United States, starting a new martial arts Movie studio and create a new talent pool a la Shaw Bros/Golden harvest… Reminding everyone how it should be done.
