Magnolia Pictures is gearing up for the limited theatrical release of John Woo’s critically acclaimed war epic RED CLIFF on November 20th and has put out a preview video where Woo describes the significance of the film. Magnolia has already made the film available in the States ahead of its theatrical run as a VOD release on Pay-Per-View, On Demand and HDNet Movies.
I’m looking at Comcast’s listing for RED CLIFF and it looks like Magnolia is releasing the entire two-part saga on VOD beginning with PART 1, as opposed to releasing the shortened international version. Hopefully, we’ll also be able to get both parts when the film comes to DVD and Blu-ray.
