Lionsgate is bringing a new mixed martial arts action-thriller to DVD that features some of MMA’s top talents including George “Rush” St-Pierre, BJ “The Prodigy” Penn, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Anderson “The Spider” Silva, and Heath “The Texas Crazy Horse” Herring.
NEVER SURRENDER is an erotically charged, controversial action-thriller set in the world of underground street fighting where an MMA fighter who has been drawn into the world by an erotic and sexy promoter, quickly realizes that there is no way out, other than death.
The film is written, produced and directed by Argentinean-born kickboxing champion Hector Echavarria (CONFESSIONS OF A PIT FIGHTER) who also stars.
Also featured is Lateef Crowder from Tony Jaa’s THE PROTECTOR.
The film is a production of Echavarria’s Destiny Entertainment Productions, a company with a full slate of low-budget martial arts-action films completed or in various stages of production, many of them being distributed by Lionsgate. Other upcoming films from Destiny Entertainment include HELL’S CHAIN, DEATH CALLS, DUEL OF LEGENDS with Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and DEATH WARRIOR.
The Lionsgate DVD release of NEVER SURRENDER includes a behind-the-scenes featurette, “Anatomy of a Fight,” Twelve Stones music video for “Adrenaline,” and a trailer gallery.
Running time is 86 minutes. Rating is R for strong sexual content, graphic nudity, violence, and some language.
NEVER SURRENDER arrives on DVD April 28th.
