Vlad Rimburg’s latest film features a brand new star in the making and her name is PeiPei Yuan.

DRAGON LADY is a four-and-a-half minute short film that stars Yuan as a mysterious woman who is challenged by a martial arts fighter played by Brendon Huor, a member of the LBP Stunts Chicago Team. Rimburg handled all the behind the scenes, working quadruple duty as director, cinematographer, editor, and fight choreographer.

This short film is definitely worth checking out as it showcases both Yuan and Huor’s skills very nicely. Yuan has done stuntwork in television and has done a bit of acting herself. She has a background not only in martial arts, but gymnastics, and break dancing as well. She has even worked with some of pop music’s biggest stars as a choreographer and dancer.

A special thanks goes out to Film Combat Syndicate for bringing this to our attention.

Glad and SURPRISED to see a spotlight on the indy guys. Will this be a regular thing?

It’s looking that way. With the abundance of indy talent in martial arts, it would be great to feature everyone as they work hard all in the name of entertainment, like our on screen heroes. So we will try to get the names out there and have you fans enjoy them.
