RAGING PHOENIX (2010) Images from CHOCOLATE star Jeeja (Jija) Yanin’s second film, RAGING PHOENIX, have turned up on Thai-language site Deknang.com. They show the action starlet strumming in a rock ‘n’ roll band and hanging out in a nightclub.

It was earlier reported that the Thai actioner would incorporate musical and dance elements in with the martial arts fighting, as well as romancing with co-star Patrick Tang.

Another upcoming martial arts movie that will be blending dance and martial arts is Yuen Woo-ping’s TRUE LEGEND. Star Vincent Zhao has incorporated a form of street dance into his drunken boxing routines.

Nothing is known about the plot yet but that has never been a strong point of any recent Thai action movie. All that really matters is that Yanin and Panna Rittikrai’s stunt team are able to deliver more killer action to at least match CHOCOLATE.

I’m looking forward to this film. I’m not worried about a martial arts film blending action with dance/musical sequences. I always enjoyed the Shaw Brothers Kara Hui film Lady is the Boss which mixed in a little dancing into the action of the film.

I already own this movie and it is flawless. I've watched it almost everyday since I got it. Most great movies has its pros and cons, but this one has no cons. The storyline is good and the action scenes are as what I expected, well choreographed and long. I can't stand short fight scenes, but in Yanin Jeeja's movies, the shortest fight scenes fill up my day. Good job to the producers, writers and cast for making this movie come true. I hope you make more.
