U.K.-based hip-hop artist, producer and kung fu movie fan Quest-Rah has unveiled a new classic kung fu-inspired music video for “The Quest,” a featured track off his new album “Ancient Tapes Vol.1.”

The track and its accompanying video is more subtle in its kung fu references than an RZA or Wu Tang Clan track but the underlying influence is there. Quest-Rah explains it the following way.
“Filmed in a traditional-style teahouse, I rap to an oriental flute-backed theme with lyrics about journeying across lands looking for a dope hip-hop beat and ending up in a teahouse to find it, all the while piercing MCs with lyrical arrows and darts along the way!”
“The Quest” is one half of a music video double-feature that includes “Element of Truth.” Both are produced by Global Faction.
“Ancient Tapes Vol. 1″ is available for purchase online at CDBaby.com and at Quest-Rah’s official Myspace page.
