G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA (2009) New movie stills and a two-minute promotional video clip for G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA have been released. Both reveal more of ninjitsu-trained rivals, Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and Snake Eyes (Ray Park), two of the franchise’s most popular characters. They also reveal that director Stephen Sommers is dishing out more of the over-the-top, fantasy-effects fighting action that he has peddled previously in the first two MUMMY films and VAN HELSING.

G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA opens in theaters on August 2.

i hate it… they turned g.i.joe into a stupid super hero film…when it should just be a film about regular hero’s.

That was horrible. It even took me a while to figure out which guy was GI Joe since nobody was wearing anything that remotely resembled an army uniform.

Gi-Joe is about a special team.I can,t wait to see it.The suits everything about the film is bad-ass.
I,m wishing I can get into the advance screening of Gi Joe.
After seeing the anime film, full trailer & clips I got see before a-hole screeners frak it up.

Read some critic S%$3ing on it & about Sccott Summers directing it along with complianing about it not looking like his crummy childhood memory.

even if it misses the classic elements of G.I.JOE it still looks like a promising action flick. Those powered armor suits in the trailer look the goods

looks kinda stupid. Like a cheap chinese martial arts film with a lot of special effects.
