Quentin Tarantino recently went public in an interview with suggestion that he was working on a third KILL BILL that will take place 10 years after the events of the first two films and see the return of Uma Thurman in the role of revenge-seeking assassin, “The Bride.”
I hesitated to publish anything knowing that the outspoken filmmaker has a penchant for talking up projects that never materialize. However, Thurman has stepped up to comment, stating that she has had access to the unfinished plotline which she praises enthusiastically.
“We did chat. He has not yet finished the script,” said Thurman. “I don’t even really know if he’s really started it, although I got a taste of some of his ideas and they are really good. He has started to share with me what he was thinking, and it’s awesome.”
Few other details about the production have been revealed except that KILL BILL: VOL. 3 is scheduled for release in 2014. This would normally be an awfully long time to be talking about a movie this far in advance, unless it’s a Tarantino picture.
Let speculation commence about which martial arts movies he borrows from this time and which legendary genre stars he casts.
