NEVER SURRENDER director and star Hector Echavarria is cranking out B-grade MMA movies left and right. The one currently filming is UNRIVALED and MovieSet has gone behind the scenes to offer up an on-set preview of the film co-starring MMA fighters Rashad Evans and Keith Jardine. (A collection of movie stills can be found here.)

Echavarria isn’t directing this one although he is executive producer. Helmer Warren P. Sonoda’s only previous action-related credit of note is for the Syfy Channel original fantasy movie MERLIN AND THE BOOK OF BEASTS.

Eric Bryson, the film’s stunt coordinator is featured in a couple of the clips below. He’s a seasoned stuntman and choreographer with stunt credits on quite a few A-list films including THE TUXEDO, RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE and ERAGON. He was also stunt coordinator for the crime thriller NARC.
