Those characters were lame and campy, and strictly for that original Saturday morning kid's show IMO. Crang was just a remake of the original Utroms characters anyways, and they did a good job including their original storyline in the cartoon series of the past few years... with the exception of turning Shredder into an evil Utrom in a Shredder bot much like Krang himself.I'd really like to see them try to stick as much as possible with the original comic books and the original tone while remaining fairly kid friendly. Make it a PG13 and I think we'd have it about right. I sure hope they don’t mess around with Krang and Bebop or Rocksteady. Sure it had its flaws but it tried to pay respects to the original movies.In some ways it didn't generate the buzz and money they hope for thus the talk and movement of a reboot/live action film.I'm a turtles fan, and it will be interesting to see if they can do and improve things that couldn't be done many years ago and bring in characters like Crain, and Bebop, with the Shredder instead of the same 'ol thing aka foot clan.
