What with METALLIC CYBORG generating a lot of WTF reactions online, I have to wonder what people were expecting from a Jeff Lau film? This looks to be exactly the sort of intensely & aggressively silly, insane stuff that he specializes in. See also: THE EAGLE SHOOTING HEROES.

I don’t know. The “humorus” parts of the trailer (the nerd, the cyborg with the tacky hair) feel like they are going to be unbearable for me to watch. The later half of this trailer (the stuff with the actual robot stuff in it) seems like fun. This is promotional trailer, so hopefully an offical trailer would show off more of the robots in action cuse that stuff seemed kinda cool to me.

The rest of it on the other half…..well…I guess we will see.
