Angel Fist,yeah its an old Martial Arts movie alright,I happen to own it on VHS tape.Yeah the movie looked a bit cheesy,but seeing the few hot chicks in their Leotards(Bathing Suits) were kinda different unlike in most Martial Arts movie with tournaments like Bloodsport for example with people in actual Martial Arts attire.

The Women that fought in the Martial Arts tournament in Angel Fist wearing Leotards also reminded me of some classic video game characters from Mortal Kombat at the time like Sonya Blade for example,she wore a green & black Leotard in the 1st Mortal Kombat game in the arcades at the time.Just remember the movie Angel Fist & the arcade game Mortal Kombat had some ideas in common with female fighters/female game characters.

i just know….good or bad….that I want to know EVERYTHING about martial arts cinema that i possibly can. Albert provides us with that information, be it positive or negative reviews

while i kind of see both sides to the dragonsword/atherton debate, it is important to note that albert is helping many who are interested in this genre of film to become a “completist”, meaning that there are no films left unseen. and you have to admit,when it comes to the MA genre, there are THOUSANDS of films that have been overlooked for whatever reason, and they happen to be excellent works of cinema, if not just a good time.

i see where he is going. the video age brought us many DTV action flicks, and it is important to note the impact they had on the genre. PM, New Horizon, Concorde…all contributed to the genre and it must be noted so. thank you albert

when i was i kid, i used to laugh at the cover of this box. ANYONE kicking me like the woman on the right of the cover…jesus…i could tell even then what this movie was REALLY about……a clever way to show genitalia on a vhs box
