This movie does not, in anyway, compare favorably to Asian epic battles noted. No way this compares to, for example, 8 Diagram Pole Fighters, 7 Blows Of The Dragon, Blood Brothers, etc. These guys neither look graceful, athletic nor martial in their "performance" of their version of the ways of Mars. No way this compares to Woo Ping's work, Even his Western work (Keanu looks a thousand times better than any one of these actors, and Keanu knows no martial arts-with him, my suspension of disbelief remains, he is believable as a martial artist-not these cats though).Way too much hype, way too much Western chest pumping (reminds me of the Chinese "Japanese" always bad guys themes which permeated many Kung Fu films. Honestly, it appears like a "white hope" film. No offense intended, but gotta call it as I see the film. Strongly disagree.
