Jet Li is great, but he can not act. They need to get an acting double for that man. So…much as i like the other things he can do, no. He simply does not entertain. At the same time, I don’t think we need more gritty. I think a more fantastic movie is going to do better.

Worst Jet Li movie in a long time… just too stupid to put into words. May never watch another Jet Li movie again (and I’ve seen them all)

I’m torn… I love Jet Li but I’m sick and tired of the weightless leaps, magic, and fantasy elements of the wuxia pian genre. I mean I still like some of it but my favorite Jet Li films are ones like Fist of Legend, Fearless, Danny the Dog (Unleashed), Once Upon A Time In China, Kiss of the Dragon, Shaolin Temple, even Tai Chi Master… But I cringe watching him in stuff like Swordsmen II or The Evil Cult. I’m going to give this one a chance though, I’ll watch anything he’s in at least once, lol. Oh, I know this isn’t a martial arts flick but I actually enjoyed watching him in Ocean Heaven… I hope he finds some good dark dramatic roles that allow him to kick a little ass along the way.
