It is so clumsily put together that it feels like one of Godfrey Ho's cut-and-paste ninja movies. It's almost as if the "Ten Tigers" parts were sitting uncompleted and Chang Cheh decided to film a couple of token scenes around them so he could release a feature-length film. Being a fan of Chang Cheh and all of the Shaw Bros stars involved, the finished product is definitely less than the sum of its parts.
