Terry Crews on shooting women in ‘Expendables’

MTV caught up with THE EXPENDABLES cast member Terry Crews who talks enthusiastically about his character and the opportunity to work on a movie that is “all blood and guts” and “the he-manness of everything” with a cast that includes Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Randy Couture, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He points out that, like PREDATOR, few women will be appearing in the movie and most that do won’t be treated kindly. “There are a lot of women getting shot in this movie,” says Crews.

He goes on to state that a cast like this could only unite for a legend like Stallone who, according to the actor, “let’s everybody create their own character.”

“There are a lot of big personalities, big egos in this thing, but it is great. I think it’s going to be wonderful for the fans.”

Crews also reveals that in THE EXPENDABLES he plays a weapons expert named “Hale Caesar” and is studying up on weaponry for the role.
