An official teaser poster has been released for director Rob Cohen’s THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR, the third entry in the effects-heavy MUMMY series starring Brendan Fraser. We’re more interested in his co-stars Jet Li, Michelle Yeoh and Isabella Leong. We’ve got pictures of them too.
Think what you will about Rob Cohen as an action filmmaker given past bonehead efforts like XXX and STEALTH but I have to give him props for keeping fans up to date on the production through one of the better filmmaker blogs I have yet seen. THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR opens in theaters on August 1st. So far it’s shaping up to potentially be another entertaining adventure flick similar to THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM.
