A new TV spot is available for the Hughes brothers’ upcoming post-apocalyptic actioner THE BOOK OF ELI. I’ve been hearing that 54-year-old star Denzel Washington trained in martial arts with Dan Inosanto for at least six months to prepare for his role. Under the guidance of Inosanto’s protégé, he reportedly performed all of his own stunts and fighting in the film. Come January 15, we’ll get to see what this middle-aged, Oscar-winning dramatic actor-turned-dystopian martial arts hero can do.
