Greatly anticipated this movie, i was very happy to see a little originality or at least a little bit for difference from my usual take of these types of movies. its a really bad thing when people dont at least watch something once. just to at least give it a chance, some movies you see now comming back out were so well done back in the stone age when movies sucked no matter what you watched; what i’m getting at is that low budget may be the words you were looking for, maybe not “crap” because i genuinely liked this film. i even went thru the torture of watching it without subtitles because i couldnt even FIND another copy. i was still happy with the movie. it may have been crap, but one mans crap is another mans treasure. i do say so myself… this movie, was fun. =)

I bought the Thai version at a shop in Chinatown NYC las summer. Running time is listed as 88 minutes. Movie still rocks!

It depends on how much you order. I ordered two 3-disc box sets and 2 single disc DVDs (Chocolate being 1 of them) and shipping was &6.05 which = $8.57 USD. I like to use XE.com for currency conversion.

FYI..amazon.co.uk has the PAL UK version [Showbox Media] for &6.98 which = $9.57 USD! That’s significantly lower than anywhere else, even HKFlix ($28.95) or amazon.com (24.49). If you like special features, the UK version has a lot of them and they will have English subs.

The running time of the PAL Thai special edition DVD and the PAL UK version is exactly the same, 89 minutes (despite the Thai box saying 95 minutes). PAL speedup would normally account for about 5 minutes, so either the DVD print was cut down from the cinema release (haven’t heard anything to that effect) or the 110 minute running time is incorrect.

The deleted scenes on the UK disc are all B-roll footage and don’t appear in the That DVD version of the movie.

I was relly looking forward for the uncut version, oh well I guess I’ll just have to wait until it aired on cable, you can still see it on watchmovies.com for free and good qualaty too.
All these companies need to know that martial arts movies are meant to watch the way they were made 100% and uncut, this is why the bussiness is losing so much ground.
