KFC forums member FrankyLau has posted on Youtube a five-part interview he conducted with Mark Houghton. Houghton made his name in Hong Kong as a martial arts movie stunt actor, Hung Gar instructor and student of famed kung fu moviemaker Lau Kar-leung. The interview focuses on Houghton’s experience working in the film industry.

The last time I spoke with Houghton in 2007, he was busy trying to get HEROES OF SHAOLIN into production. It’s a period kung fu movie that promises to reunite members of the Lau clan including kung fu stars Hsiao Ho and Gordon Liu. Houghton also operates an officially sanctioned Lau family Hung Gar school in Hong Kong where he teaches traditional Hung Kuen and screen fighting technique.
