HOLY FLAME OF THE MARTIAL WORLD (1983 – trailer)
An impressive tale of two children, who are raised by competing kung fu masters after their parents are killed in an attempt to possess the world’s most powerful weapon, the Holy Flame. Trained in kung fu, the brother and sister ultimately seek revenge on the men responsible for the death of their parents. HOLY FLAME OF THE MARTIAL WORLD is a magnificent martial arts epic that marked the true arrival of actor/producer/writer/director Lu Chun-ku who directed such popular action films as THE MASTER and AMBITIOUS KUNG FU GIRL. Kuo Chu, star of Chang Cheh’s internationally successful “Venom” film series and action director for the 007 thriller TOMORROW NEVER DIES and cult classic BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF, both co-stars and choreographs this action-packed Shaw Brothers masterpiece.
