Update: Well Go USA’s Shaw Brothers DVD giveaway

UPDATE: Congratulations to Derek Martinez, Michael Macchia, Katrena Dennard, Scott Sager, and Kurtis Fujita. These folks will all be receiving DVD releases of THE HEROIC ONES and JOURNEY OF THE DOOMED, courtesy of Well Go USA, and a Kung Fu Cinema t-shirt.

Kung Fu Cinema has teamed up with sponsors Well Go USA to give away two of their upcoming Shaw Brothers DVD releases. Five lucky winners will receive THE HEROIC ONES, starring David Chiang and JOURNEY OF THE DOOMED, starring Stephen Tung Wei. We’ll also toss in a little Kung Fu Cinema swag, namely a t-shirt for each winner.

THE HEROIC ONES and JOURNEY OF THE DOOMED are coming to DVD Sept. 16th. They are the latest Shaw titles from Well GO USA, an officially licensed distributor of Celestial Pictures’ remastered Shaw Brothers library. Previous titles from Well Go USA include TWO CHAMPIONS OF SHAOLIN and BROTHERS FIVE. Future releases include THE BATTLE WIZARD and DUEL OF THE CENTURY.

This contest is open to residents of the USA and Canada only. Contest ends Thurs., Sept. 18th, 2008. Randomly selected winners will be notified by e-mail and prizes will be mailed out within a week. (Names, mailing addresses and e-mail accounts of entrants will not be shared with any third party and will be deleted once the contest ends.)
